Actalent Construction Project Engineer in Elk Grove Village, Illinois
Description:
Handle day-to-day project requirements
Assist Project Manager's or Senior Project Manager's with project tasks
Handle submittals, RFI's, change orders, and other subcontractor or owner coordination
Coordinate with on-site Superintendent staff in regards to schedules, project progress, and more
Utilize and organize documents in construction software
Assist with project drawing coordination
Lead or assist with job site meetings which can require traveling to jobsites
Assist with comprehensive project schedules in MS Project
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred, Construction Management secondary
Experience with a General Contractor or Developer working on large projects ground-up or larger renovations preferred
Industrial/Warehouse/Distribution Project Experience would be a plus
Experience with Construction software's such as MS Project, Procore, Prolog, or CMiC
Ability to travel to jobsites requiring overnight stays at times
