Job Summary Central Washington University is recruiting an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Construction Management to join our Engineering, Technology, Safety and Construction (ETSC) team in Ellensburg, Washington. Learn more: Benefits, Perks, and Leave. The Role: This position is in the Department of Engineering, Technology, Safety and Construction (ETSC). Primary responsibilities for this position include teaching courses in general building and/or heavy civil construction management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for industry collaboration, engagement, and service. All ETSC faculty are expected to: 1) outreach to- and advise students, hold regular office hours, actively participate in program assessment and evaluation to maintain accreditation; 2) engage in scholarly activities; and 3) participate in university, college, departmental and professional service. Faculty will integrate CWU's commitment to diversity and create a learning environment that is welcoming, accessible and inclusive for all students. Minimum Qualifications Please address in your cover letter: Master's degree in construction, engineering, business or construction-related field; Construction management experience working within the construction industry; Familiarity with United States construction practices; Teaching, research, service or other experience that has prepared the candidate to contribute to CWU's commitment to the engagement and inclusion of culturally diverse students. Preferred Qualifications (Please address in your cover letter:) Ph.D. in construction, engineering or related discipline; Professional academic experience; Experience with an engineering/construction academic accreditation process (i.e. - ABET, ACCE, etc.); Professional credentials (P.E.
