Superior Ambulance Service Client Service Coordinator in Elmhurst, Illinois

Overview

Scope of Work: The Client Service Coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our clients by promptly responding to inquiries, providing detailed explanation of contracts, track contract status renewal, as well as schedule and follow up on monthly maintenance.

Reports to: NORCOMM Marketing Representative

Responsibilities

  • Explain alarm ordinances to subscribers.

  • Follow up on equipment installation for new contracts.

  • Attend subscriber meetings to review the current status of contracts.

  • Schedules and follows up on monthly maintenance subscriber accounts including timely communication with subscribers.

  • Participate and attend Alarm Operations meetings

  • Attend conferences and trade shows

  • Track contract renewals and provide timely follow up

  • Familiar with all equipment and contact numbers, and to follow-up on equipment repairs.

  • Must remain current on all policy/procedural issues.

  • Provide an example of professional behavior.

  • Maintain all certifications required including but not limited to PERC.

  • Recruit Alarm Technician candidates

  • Establish and maintain client relationships with municipalities and districts to build business

  • Review contracts with clients for individual clients and municipalities/districts

  • Attend various internal team status meetings as needed

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and driven personality

  • Experience preferable in an alarm environment in a capacity servicing police, fire and EMS in the public safety arena.

  • Demonstrated ability to work to a high standard.

  • Demonstrated positive attitude, including ability to give and receive constructive criticism.

  • Intimate knowledge of the operations of police/fire agencies.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Possess excellent organizational skills and communications skills, both verbal and written.

  • Able to deal effectively, objectively, and fairly with all employees.

  • Able to handle stressful situations calmly and be able to react appropriately in emergencies.

  • Able to plan, supervise, coordinate and direct the work of others.

  • Ability to evaluate situations and act accordingly.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, agencies and the public.

  • If not already certified, must have ability to achieve certification of PERC within 180-days to hire.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills.

  • Experience working with BOLD Alarm software a plus,

  • Experience working with Monday.com CRM software a plus.

  • Experience working in alarm inspections and installations is desirable.

Work Environment:

  • Work is typically performed in an office environment, with varying levels of noise and lighting.

  • Daily local travel to meet with clients and alarm subscribers to review details of contracts and physical locations of alarms

  • Must be available to work encompassing schedules (8am-4pm Mon-Fri)

Physical Demands:

  • Light lifting, carrying and pushing objects weighing up to 25 pounds

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment, including a computer keyboard

  • Sitting for extended periods of time

  • Adequate hearing and visual acuity to successfully perform the essential job requirements

  • Ability to speak and comprehend English coherently to exchange information in person and on the telephone

Necessary Special Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driver license and have access to a motor vehicle on an as needed daily basis.

  • Light travel may be necessary to represent Norcomm Public Safety Communications, Inc. and attend conferences/trade show events as deemed necessary.

  • May work outside of scheduled hours to meet with clients
