Your Boat Club LLC Lead Trailhand in Ely, Minnesota

Your Boat Club is seeking an area Lead Trailhand for our 2024 boating season at our locations in and near Ely, MN.
As an area Lead Trailhand, you will help create the best experience for our customers at Your Boat Club and report directly to the Location(s) Manager. This individual will lead the team of trailhands and dockhands and assist the Location Manager(s) to ensure a successful season at Ely area locations. The position is based out of our downtown Ely location but will require time spent at all Ely area locations throughout the season.
*This is a seasonal position, which typically runs through late October.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leading the team by example
Assisting the Location Manager with Ely area locations/marinas
Ensure the Boats, UTVs, and Snowmobiles are clean and maintained, and assist with covering/uncovering the boats for customer use.
Carrying customer gear to and from boats/UTVs/Snowmobiles.
Excellent customer service.
Gassing boats/UTV's/Snowmobiles.
Helping with the end of season tasks like power washing, location close downs, etc.
Listen to and work to resolve member or rental customer issues and concerns as they arise.
Other duties as assigned with the ability to advance!
Required Skills and Abilities:
As far as necessary skills, the most important one of all is having the ability to provide high-quality customer service:
Past lead experience is a plus.
Boating/UTV/Snowmobile and fueling experience is a huge plus.
Strong communication skills.
Treat members, renters, guests, and employees with respect.
Going above and beyond to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible.
Being on time, wearing a proper work uniform, and communicating effectively with the Location(s) Manager.
Knowledge about the Ely area, local bodies of water, and local trail systems is also a huge plus.
Working Conditions:
This is currently a full-time seasonal opportunity, but it could be a year-round position. The hours available can vary, and much of the job is weather-dependent. You will have the opportunity to work outside in beautiful Ely, MN, and the surrounding area and lakes.

Compensation:
This position starts at $15.00 an hour and may vary based on experience.
