University Hospitals Health System Radiology Tech Extender Student position in Elyria, Ohio
Description Position Summary/Essential Duties: * Assisting the Technologist by completing basic patient assessments including verifying patient orders, completing patient questionnaires, patient preparation and instruction. * Communication with other members of the health care team to help coordinate patient care. * Facilitate patient care including, lifting, transport, chaperone and monitoring of patients. * Assist with Radiology computer information and data entry including PAC system. * Ensures the adequate availability of procedural supplies to include ordering and stocking patient care supply item. * Follows system/ departmental initiatives in order to meet patient satisfaction goals. * Displays a commitment to Hospital mission and values. * Consistently follows hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety. * Consistently follows hospital and department SOPS, policies and protocols. * Collaborates effectively with co-workers and staff throughout the institution to ensure that assignments are completed in a professional and effective manner.
