New Concept Technology Quality Production Engineer in Emigsville, Pennsylvania
Quality Production Engineers (2 openings) for New Concept Manufacturing, LLC in Emigsville, PA. Review and interpret preproduction documents, including inspection instructions, customer drawings, tooling and fixture requirements, and gaging designs using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Lead measurement system analysis activities using Gage R&R methodology, test method validations, and test procedures as part of the design transfer process. Monitor product manufacturing system using statistical tools, such as Minitab, to analyze data and provide process capability information. Collaborate with the Material Review Board (MRB) to review nonconforming products by creating Pareto charts to isolate defects and recommend corrective and preventative actions (CAPA). Provide inspectors with clear and concise workflow orders to ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or closely related field and 2 years of experience working in a Quality Production Engineer, Quality Engineer, or similar professional role within the aerospace, automotive, or medical device industry. Experience must include using Gage R&R or similar measurement methodology; Minitab or similar statistical tool; and GD&T.
