DESCRIPTION OF WORK As the Park Maintenance Supervisor 2, your responsibilities will include overseeing both full-time and seasonal maintenance employees. This will involve assigning tasks, supervising work, managing leave and overtime, implementing corrective discipline, and evaluating employee performance. Additionally, you will actively participate in park maintenance activities across Region 1, ensuring the preservation of natural resources for future generations. Your role will also involve scheduling and coordinating work projects, managing swing equipment, providing instructions to employees, and collaborating with Park Managers and other Park Maintenance Supervisors in Region 1 to successfully complete various projects.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment This is a 24/7 operation and may require working weekends, holidays and night/day shifts. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience as a Park Maintenance Supervisor 1 (commonwealth title); or Five years of semi-skilled maintenance or construction experience in two of the following: electrical trades, plumbing trades, carpentry trades, mechanical trades, water or wastewater treatment plant operations, or the operation of small and medium size construction or agricultural equipment; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements: This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license. Other Requirements:
