iM3NY Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) in Endicott, New York
Imperium3 New York, Inc. (iM3NY) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift). This position will be responsible for the repair and regular maintenance of manufacturing equipment and a 250,000 sq ft lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant. The plant is run on electrical, steam, chilled water, and compressed air that supports large Trane air handlers, 40,000+ sq ft dry rooms, and filtered exhaust systems. Equipment to be repaired includes but is not limited to planetary mixers, coating and electrically driven ovens, cutting dies, pick and place robots, belt conveyors, air cylinders, electric servos, chillers, electric and hydraulic motors, blowers, and roller conveyers.

JOB DUTIES – Maintenance Technician
Regular preventative maintenance of the plant
Regular preventative maintenance of all manufacturing equipment
On-call response of facility repair, working hand in hand with property owner staff and engineering support
On-call response of equipment repair, working hand in hand with operators, technicians, and manufacturing engineering staff
Perform tests and/or checks as required to ensure functionality
Maintain work areas and tools in a clean and organized manner
Properly document all findings and work performed/corrective action in the appropriate maintenance records
Support general requests and lend a hand wherever needed
Other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS REQUIRED
Must be reliable and trustworthy.
Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical data
Use of hand/power tools and repair equipment including calibrated instruments
Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair
Able to lift 30+ pounds if needed
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong background in HVAC and utility systems
5+ years of mechanical experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment with familiarity of manufacturing machinery repair
