Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate cross functionally and externally with 3rd party providers, to develop global distribution network strategies to support the growth of the business.

  • With a mindset of Continuous Improvement, establish and improve logistics processes and activities to maximize efficiencies that support the companies’ objectives.

  • Monitor and coordinate logistics tasks to arrange inbound and outbound customer shipments. Work with 3rd parties to schedule shipments, obtain supporting proof of delivery documentation, and track shipments.

  • Coordinate closely with customers regarding delivery Compliance and Scorecards and manage and evaluate the performance of logistics providers, monitor cost, and establish performance indicators supporting the margin improvement goals.

  • Manage the relationship with international customers, coordinate shipping schedules, creation of international shipping documents, and all logistical aspects related to international orders.

  • Manage importing/exporting logistical activities. Work with brokers and logistics forwarders to import and export products and raw materials as required along with developing and communicating key metrics to track the performance of our logistics activities.

You bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience of 7 years in international and/or domestic logistics management with 2 years as a leader.

  • Strong communications skills, able to distill problems and data into actionable recommendations

  • Existing relationships with logistics suppliers and an understanding of their strengths and weaknesses, based on firsthand experience.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of international and/or domestic transportation modes, regulations, and logistics best practices.

  • Strong Continuous Improvement experience, analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
