Regional Sales Manager
Location: South East England
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of Omnicell solutions which include hardware, software and services.
You will be responsible for a defined territory of NHS Trusts and will work closely with the Senior Commercial Manager (to whom you report) to define and develop strategies for account and business development.
In this role you will need to understand clients’ business priorities, strategic objectives and to build detailed action plans for generating business. Understanding hospital supply chains and medicines management processes would be a plus, you will be working closely with hospital C-suite – including heads of procurement and chief pharmacists.
Being a capital sale, deal closing lead-times are long and you need to be a dedicated, driven person that is prepared to put in the groundwork and steer a deal from initial interest through to scoping and design, tender process, and closing.

Responsibilities :
Identifying and generating leads and managing the network of customers and potential customers in your territory
Achieving sales targets
Building and delivering account action plans and understanding customers’ strategic objectives
Responding to tenders
Experience of working with and presenting to C-suite including directors of procurement and chief pharmacists
Building ROI models
Hosting demonstration days and running workshops
Surveying hospitals to understand existing supply chain and medicines management processes
Analysing before and after data and scenarios to demonstrate potential benefits and savings
Designing and scoping automation solutions
Preparing detailed and complex sales proposals
Responding to tenders
Attending conferences and exhibitions
Administering SFDC, keeping it updated with current details, sales status and actions for each of your clients and target groups
Requirements:
8+ years experience in sales ideally in Medical, Healthcare or Tech industry.
Practical problem solving personality
Ability to plan and implement sales campaigns
Proven ability to achieve sales targets from both new customers and existing customers
Excellent computer skills – MS Windows Operating Systems, MS Office, CRM Systems
Hold a valid full UK driving license
Analytical and judgment skills
Able to manage sales campaigns and keep them on track
Understand the big picture and make intelligent decisions but take advice where appropriate, interpret advice and then act upon it
Arrive quickly at logical conclusions and inject useful analysis into the project implementation process
