Who we are looking for:

Cornerstone Capital Bank is looking for an experienced Consumer Direct Mortgage Loan Officer who can drive amazing and deep relationships with our Customers. This professional will partner with our team to assist in securing financing for their home mortgage needs. The Consumer Direct Mortgage Loan Officer will monitor the customer application from application to funding and maintain the operational standards set forth by the Lender.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet with potential customers to determine the best loan program for their individual needs by analyzing income, assets, credit, and property Manage the loan pipeline with team members to meet company efficiency standards Communicate positively and professionally with operations staff throughout the process of the loan to ensure a smooth transaction Read and understand rate sheets, product codes, loan level price adjustments in order to calculate rates and fees Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date on changes to market conditions Negotiate and confirm rates, fees, and lock terms with customer Lock loans in the system with agreed upon terms Communicate regularly with borrowers to meet desired expectations Maintain minimum productivity goals Comply with organizational standards, polices, and procedures Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to residential mortgage lending

What you'll need to be successful:

3-5 years of experience in the Mortgage Lending industry as an Originator Excellent Communications Required Ability to work within a team environment or independently Ability to prioritize work-load and handle multiple tasks Strong Organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills required Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Previous working with Black Knight MSP, LoanSoft, Empower, SalesForce or Surefire a plus High School Diploma or equivalent required
