Design and develop new software and web applications in an Agile development environment, using Scrum framework; develop REST and SOAP webservices using Java; develop and deploy cloud-based applications in Spring or Spring Boot; process database operations using PL/SQL; use Maven for build automation; perform version control using Git; build and deploy software using CI/CD tools including GoCD and Concourse; deploy applications into Pivotal Cloud Foundry; use operational tools including App Dynamics; develop programs and automate tasks using Linux shell scripting; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
*REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing REST and SOAP webservices using Java; developing and deploying cloud-based applications in Spring or Spring Boot; working within an Agile development environment and using Scrum framework; processing database operations using PL/SQL; using Maven for build automation; performing version control using Git; building and deploying software using CI/CD tools including GoCD and Concourse; deploying applications into Pivotal Cloud Foundry; using operational tools including App Dynamics; of which one (1) year includes developing programs and automating tasks using Linux shell scripting.
SALARY: $87,443 to $125,000 per year
