Job Duties Participate on DevOps Engineering team within Scrum environment. Engage application architects and developers on load balancing requirements for existing applications and onboarding of new applications. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain pipelines to export and deploy applications and services. Develop scripts to collect configurations and modify existing manual configuration using commands. Create and maintain dashboards to publish device logs. Troubleshoot network latency applications, virtual servers, and inbound and outbound rules and policies. Install upgrades and apply system patches. Migrate monitoring dashboards and add configured devices. Develop and implement scripts to install and configure code. Work with internal and external organizations to align on product vision. Provide operational guidance to ensure architecture fulfillment of business and operational needs. Work with architects and developers on designs and debug problems. Develop and implement cloud infrastructure. Create and deliver presentations and documentation to developers and operations teams. Attend and contribute to technical discussions and working groups across multiple organizations.
Telecommuting is permitted 100%. Position reports directly to company HQ in Englewood, CO.
Job Requirements Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field, and 4 years of experience in a related occupation.
Must include some experience in each of the following: 1. Using Python, Groovy, Ruby, XSLT, ksh, and bash.
Working with Windows and Linux.
Using continuous integration, delivery, and automation practices and tools (Jenkins and Chef).
Working with Rundeck.
Working with AWS.
Load balancers and troubleshooting network applications.
Working on a DevOps Team.
