Job Duties
Develop and maintain automated tests. Drive the development and execution of automated tests. Translate complex test scenarios into effective, and repeatable automated tests. Collaborate with developers, testers, users, and cross-functional teams to enhance testing of applications. Perform manual testing at the user interface and API levels. Provide training and mentorship to test engineers. Conduct code reviews and train test engineers on automation on new coding and testing methodologies, guidelines, and best practices. Perform audits, plan, schedule, and execute test plans. Analyze test results and assess whether specifications align with QA and client standards. Work as part of scrum team in agile environment. Complete tests, create reports, present results to management, and suggest solutions. Analyze test results to identify areas of improvement. Collaborate with individuals and teams to test software cross-platform.
Telecommuting is permitted 100%. Position reports to company HQ in Englewood, CO.
Job Requirements
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and Computing, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive experience in a related occupation.
Must include some experience in each of the following:
1) Working with Object-oriented programming languages (Java) and working with relational databases (Microsoft SQL or Oracle DB).
2) Using Selenium WebDriver and BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
3) Working with Cypress framework and Type script.
4) Using Postman and Rest Assured framework to test RESTful web services.
5) Validating JSON format and interpreting HTTP status codes.
6) Integrating test scripts into cloud platform CI/CD pipelines (AWS or Microsoft Azure).
7) Working with code management tools (GIT and SVN).
8) Testing environments and creating test plans, test cases, and scenarios.
