Job Overview
Adecco Healthcare & Life Science is assisting our client, an ambulatory surgical center, with recruiting a part-time Radiology Technician to join their team at their state-of-the-art medical facility in Bergen County NJ. In this role, you'll perform fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures in the operating room and radiographic imaging in the office. You'll also be responsible for maintaining equipment, documenting procedures, and ensuring radiation safety.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures in the operating room
Perform radiographic imaging in the office setting
Participate in preoperative patient assessments
Maintain and calibrate equipment, keeping detailed logs
Manage the Radiation Quality program, working with the Radiation Physicist and Radiation Safety Officer
Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring proper positioning and shielding
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
A.A.R.T. certification
Current BLS certification
At least 6 months of related experience (2 years preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment
Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
