Your Role as an Assistant Project Manager: At Apex, you will play a pivotal role in various environmental projects, contributing to the firm's mission of environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: Conduct inspections of stormwater controls at construction sites and commercial facilities. Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and contribute to Phase II ESAs. Utilize your background in earth sciences for wetland delineations and habitat assessments. Collect and analyze soil, water, air, and building material samples. Interpret data and input findings into comprehensive reports. Actively pursue career growth and development opportunities within the firm. Experience in environmental field sampling and data collection. Strong technical writing skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Commitment to safety practices; 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred. Hands-on experience in light construction is advantageous. Proficiency in data management and report preparation. Familiarity with editing Phase I and II ESAs is desirable. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
