Job Description :
The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Cardiac Surgery Division is recruiting a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team serving Erie, Pennsylvania. This is a unique opportunity to join the award winning AHN Cardiothoracic Surgical team. The Cardiovascular Institute at AHN includes a comprehensive panel of physicians. The Cardiac Division at Saint Vincent Hospital includes two full-time cardiothoracic surgeons in addition to 2 electrophysiologists, 8 additional cardiologists and 2 advanced practice providers.
Job Duties
Excellence in the entire spectrum cardiac surgery including but not limited to CABG, aortic & mitral valve replacement, thoracoscopy, lobectomy and TAVR.
Continue to further develop and grow an established cardiothoracic program.
Job Qualifications
MD or DO degree and completed an ACGME-accredited thoracic surgery residency
3 years’ experience preferred
PhD/MD Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
Completion of accredited residency and fellowship if required by specialty
Board Certified or eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Current PA MD licensure in good standing; current unrestricted DEA certificate
