DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you are involved in routine manual work in public institutional buildings and surrounding grounds. Duties include the use of custodial supplies and modern cleaning equipment and may involve the moving and lifting of heavy furniture. Work is performed in accordance with a well-established routine and is subject to inspection to meet standards of cleanliness. This job is for a positive and productive person who takes pride in cleaning and helping others!

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday and Monday off), with 30-minute lunch. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualification (not required):

Experience in a custodial position, janitor, or performing cleaning duties in an assisted living facility, nursing home, or hospital. (Experience might include such things as cleaning restrooms, cleaning resident rooms, offices, or public areas, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, buffing, etc.) Legal Requirements:

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
