Your future role.
You will be responsible for the design and conceptualization of drive solutions, specifically for large drives in the oil & gas, petrochemical, metals, mining, energy, and other industrial sectors (water, etc.).
This includes the holistic preparation of proposals (specifications, calculations, LoA documents, DAMEX, etc.) and the management of systems/solutions.
You will be responsible for ensuring a reasonable division of the scope of delivery and services among the involved parties and the derived value flows.
Additionally, you will be responsible for independently requesting, clarifying, and evaluating sub-supplier offers (transformers, MV switchgear, MCCs, drive-related automation, UPS, E-containers, cooling systems, etc.) as well as internal offers.
You will conduct technical/price negotiations with customers as well as with internal and external partners in consultation with the procurement colleagues.
Furthermore, you will support the sales team in customer discussions regarding the execution of their specifications and proposal requirements concerning the necessary requirements.
You will also be responsible for the independent (further) development, elaboration, and implementation of proposal standards (product descriptions, contract conditions, standard calculations, etc.).
For this purpose, you will work closely with the other Quotation Centers of IN and the product managers of IN.
Your profile.
You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, preferably with a focus on power electronics or electrical machines.
Building on this, you have many years of relevant experience in project business (in the areas of project management, engineering, etc.) and/or commissioning activities in the implementation of drive solutions of all kinds.
You can also demonstrate comprehensive technical/technological knowledge of production processes in the oil & gas, petrochemical, metals, mining, energy, and other industrial sectors (water, etc.).
You have solid knowledge in the field of drive technology, such as the design of motors, converters, transformers, switchgear, UPS, E-containers, cooling systems, etc., and the associated Siemens and third-party products.
Furthermore, you impress with your knowledge of project management methodology for the proposal and execution process.
A systematic way of working, analytical and team skills, and organizational talent also characterize you.
Willingness to travel worldwide and fluency in German and English complete your profile.
