What do you contribute?

  • In your new role as Product Portfolio Manager (f/m/d), you will further develop the components of the Commuter & Regional Trains train platforms assigned to you.

  • You will reduce the number of variants and enable the components to be used as widely as possible with the aim of significantly reducing costs.

  • In doing so, you will act as a link between sales, offer, project, engineering, purchasing and suppliers.

  • In the technical conceptual design, you will work closely with the technical experts of Siemens Mobility and will be a member of the project team.

  • As part of R&D controlling, you will plan, coordinate and monitor the content and schedules of the development projects.

  • You will represent the technical solutions with customers, at trade fairs and in dedicated presentations.

What do you bring along?

  • You have completed a technical master's degree.

  • In addition, you have many years of professional experience in engineering or project management in the rail industry or industrial plant construction.

  • In addition, you have already gained first contact points in product or portfolio management.

  • You are experienced in working with international teams across locations and communicating with internal and external stakeholders at different hierarchical levels.

  • You have a fluent command of English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
