The basic purpose of this position is to direct and motivate Production team members. This position must be able to run the production line and ensure that an adequate number of trained team members are on the line and following regulations. Continuously monitor production, equipment and team members to ensure that production runs smoothly, this includes working the line during breaks or lunches. Ensure that the team follows food safety guidelines. Oversee set up and shut down of equipment and raw materials at beginning and end of shifts. Scheduling and oversee training of new team members. Assuming all responsibilities of the Production Supervisor in their absense.
