Aerotek Test Technician in Esparto, California
Job Description
- This person will be responsible for executing tests, documenting data, and reporting findings to the team. Person will be testing the components of prototype drones, such as the electronics, the drop door hatch, the body, and the fuselage.
Responsibilities include:
Create test setups to match engineering specifications, which includes interpretation of test procedures and diagrams, instrumentation, data acquisition, test article diagnostics, and front-line root causing.
Verify that test specifications are correct and can be executed on given resources available.
Accurately report test incidents written in layperson terms.
Maintain, ensure safety, and schedule the use of Test Team equipment.
Write high-quality and detailed reports that drive to the root of any issues on a given test using data and first-order analysis.
Skills
Assembly experience with hand & power tools (manual mills, bandsaws, screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, drills, calipers/measurement tools, etc.)
Soldering skills (nice to have)
Ability to read SOPs and technical instructions
Familiarity with 80/20 builds
Creation and execution of test builds
