Oracle Lead Technical Writer - SaaS in ESPOO, Finland

Job Description

Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits operational, instructional, maintenance, test or user manuals for multimedia or web-based publications. Contributes to the timely design, production and delivery/completion of product documentation and document sets.

Responsibilities

As a member of the technical writing division, design and write conceptually complex parts of new documentation. Recognize design dependencies with related product documentation and/or products and propose design changes or new designs. Provide subject matter guidance LOB-wide to all levels, including senior management.

The Lead Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating comprehensive documentation for our fleet policies. These policies cover standard practices for change management, operational responsibilities, customer handling, and exceptions to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation for SaaS policies, including but not limited to change management, operational responsibilities, customer handling, and SOP exceptions.

  • Collaborate with various departments, including operations, compliance, customer support, and engineering, to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.

  • Establish and adhere to documentation standards and best practices to ensure consistency and clarity across all documents.

  • Review and update existing documentation to reflect current practices and policies.

  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of documentation.
