Ford Motor Company Commercial Vehicle Sales Zone Manager in Essex, United Kingdom

As part of this energetic team, you will be working collaboratively to ensure that our customer’s experiences are best in class. You will become part of a team who focus on fostering greater customer satisfaction and developing profitable market share by ensuring that our offerings are positioned, priced and sold with a strong customer experience at all "touchpoints" to optimise added value to our bottom line.

Externally you will be responsible for taking our products and services to our customers via our dealer partners. Internally you will collaborate with key stakeholders to bring both the current and next generation of exciting products, accessories, services and experiences to our customers. You will have determination to succeed and be passionate about Ford and its offerings.

  • Work with dealers to achieve monthly and quarterly sales objectives, including maximising sales from available stock.

  • Work with dealers to ensure ordertake performance is above objective.

  • Provide timely and accurate dealer sales forecasts.

  • Help dealers understand and integrate Ford Pro in to dealership processes and culture.

  • Support dealers with transition to selling Electric Vehicles.

  • Achieve Ford Pro Activation targets.

  • Regular review of dealer in market performance to identify sales opportunities and address under performance.

  • Work with dealers to ensure exceptional Customer Experience for our customers through customer surveys and Mystery Shop programmes.

  • Drive stronger dealer marketing activity with regular review and appraisal of dealer marketing plans and digital activity ensuring that they effectively communicate Ford marketing programmes and drive traffic to the dealership.

  • Agree Annual Sales Objectives (ASOs) with dealers.

  • Gain dealer acceptance to monthly wholesales, provide mix and derivative guidance to minimise stock ageing and ensure effective dealer inventory management.

  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and inspire your dealers to do the same.

  • Ensure Central communications are quickly understood and activated by the dealers.

  • Field team lead for core business functions – working with the central teams to develop implementation plans for dealer programmes, co-ordinating feedback in to the central team and leading on field team training and implementation of best practices.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to form strong productive relationships with all levels of dealer personnel.

  • Results driven with the ability to remain focused on primary objectives.

  • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage competing tasks to completion.

  • The ability to appraise and provide constructive performance feedback.

  • Proficient in use of Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Marketing experience is an advantage but not essential.

  • Full Driving licence required.

  • Degree or equivalent desirable.

Additional Information:

  • Although primarily based in Dunton (office based 1-2 days a week), this role will require extensive UK travel including overnight stays as required.
