We're looking for an individual with a strong technical background and attention to detail to create the process, tools, and team for the Special Vehicles Team.

Over the last few years, the Special Vehicles team has led a successful growth of the conversion business. Upfitting is now a key pillar of Ford Pro and as we look to accelerate business growth. With increasing vehicle volumes being allocated to converted products, coupled with an ever-growing level of product complexity, it is critical we consistently deliver in line with production requirements of our donor vehicles to our convertors.

Our Special Vehicles Order Management team own the end-to-end process from order creation to the successful delivery of customer orders. Working alongside our One Stop Shop ordering lead the primary responsibility of this role is to ensure our Premium Partner orders are fulfilled in line with our forecast plan and within customer expectation.

Key responsibilities :

  1. Follow existing monthly Order Management processes to support our business growth strategy:
  • Coordination of Premium Partner orders across the Central Ford of Europe and National Sales Company teams working closely with Key Account Managers in our Big 5 markets and scheduling teams at our manufacturing plants in Turkey.

  • Alignment of scheduling priorities by convertor / customer

  • Provide weekly production updates to key stakeholders, including markets and convertors / customers, of order scheduling and build plans , production constraints and stop build issues.

  • Oversee the management of orders through the Ford systems / processes to ensure successful translation of the order plan to the build plan.

  • Track Gate Release volumes whilst recording incoming convertor order volume amendments ensuring correct requirements are submitted to the scheduling teams each month.

  • Check and validate weekly status reports

  • Manage monthly Premium Partner allocation with Ford of Europe programming team, providing quarterly entity mix forecasts.

  • Attend weekly/monthly meetings on production planning, leading a weekly Leisure Vehicle market call to provide scheduling updates to Key Account Managers.

  • Maintain Convertor Sharepoint sites and access permissions

  1. Tracking of key metrics to provide:
  • Monthly detailed order management performance reporting and analysis to the Special Vehicles leadership team
  1. Support SV business managers with ad-hoc order requirements, tracking through to gate release and keeping the wider SV team updated with production or scheduling issues impacting their orders.

The minimum requirements we seek:

• Experience working in a Field Support / Order Fulfilment team

• Experience with working and development of Order Fulfilment processes & tools

• Previous experience in project management and people leading skill

• Strong analytical and data skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Proficient in modern collaboration tools such as Office 365, SharePoint, and WebEx Teams

• Effective verbal and written communicator including reporting to Ford Senior leadership as well as managing relationship with external stakeholders
