The HR Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the human resource department, including lawful employment practices, positive employee relations and providing leadership in promoting and enhancing a competent, engaged workforce with a high value placed on equity and inclusion. The Manager will integrate the core values of the organization into the culture; oversee the delivery of effective management training and development programs, and ensuring equitable and regionally competitive salary and benefits structures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Employee, performance and benefits management
• Recruitment, hiring, on-boarding
• Create and maintain clear, concise and relevant personnel/employment policies and procedures
• Supervision of one HR assistant
• Develop and implement process for compensation
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or communication required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience
• ADP software experience required.
