Description of the brand and the team:

The Regional Luxury Fragrance Division Team, located in Paris, is looking for an Intern for January 2024 to collaborate on driving cross-functional and cross-branded projects focused on accelerating the development of our fragrance brands (Tom Ford Beauty, Jo Malone London, Frederic Malle & Kilian Paris). In particular, the role will support the brands and affiliates teams through an integrated manner on sales analytics, market share tracking, distribution analytics and ad-hoc requests in executing key strategic projects.

The selected candidate can expect hands-on practical experience with strong exposure to the Regional Sales Analyst, Retail Operations Lead, the Education Teams, as well as Consumer & Product Marketing Leads across the Regional Fragrance Brand teams, with many leadership skills building opportunities.

Key responsibilities & Tasks:

The position will support the Regional Luxury Fragrance Team on regular performance reports as well as key projects through ad-hoc analytics and deep dives while preparing impactful presentations and meetings, to update all Fragrance teams (including top management). More specifically, tasks at hand may include:

  • Support in the creation of reports, to measure fragrance brands performance (Retail sales, Market share, Top Doors and Distribution expansion)

  • Support on the preparation of presentations and meetings to update both Fragrance teams and Top management teams on the portfolio achievements, market’s context, and brands strategy

  • Drive analytics to lead from insights to recommendations for action to regional management

  • Conduct key deep dives / ad-hoc analytics to support specific insights, at request of regional management

Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: Master’s degree – Business school, Engineering school or Top University Degree (Student status needed during duration of internship)

Minimum Years and Area of Experience: Previous internship experience preferred

Required Language Proficiency: Fluency in English required – additional language from EMEA region is a plus

  • Interest in beauty or luxury goods industries with the willingness to drive impact in all projects

  • Curious, self-starter mindset with high motivation & commitment to tasks at hand

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills: ability to work in a high-paced, multi-cultural team environment, with strong exposure to several brands & markets, up to senior management

  • Strong analytical skills and proven rigor: advanced Microsoft 365 Office Program skills required (in particular Excel)

  • Keen sense of learning in a corporate setting
