The role of a collection's specialist is to serve as the liaison between a creditor and consumer. You will oversee delinquent accounts to identify overdue payment plans, perform collection activity, and come up with solutions to resolve the debt. This career has you contact and negotiate resolutions with consumers on a wide variety of accounts in various stages of collections.

This role requires someone with the ability to balance between maintaining trustful relationships with consumers and possessing outstanding communication, negotiation skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of laws and policies related to debt collection.
