Aviation Technical Services Bids & Proposals Analyst in Everett, Washington

SUMMARY: The Bids and Proposals Analyst develops bids, pricing and writes proposals for the Marketing and Program Management department. Develops, implements and maintains a technical airframe bid/proposal database for use by Marketing, Program Management, Planning and Operations.  Analyzes new business opportunities to determine feasibility and economic viability. Works with Customers directly and indirectly on scope of work requirements and technical assistance in securing business for ATS.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares, processes, and tracks customer request for proposals through internal functional areas of ATS, and ensures that the internal bid process is followed.
  • Reviews all RFQ / RFP or Customer supplied scope of work tasks and compiles ATS information for submission response, including but not limited to, man hours per task, tooling, kits, pricing, span time, terms, quote and proposal.
  • Ensures proposal information is timely and accurate.
  • Organizes and formats bid and proposal data, including financial models. Presents to Marketing and Program Management leadership in preparation for submittal to the customer.
  • Develops and maintains bid and proposal database from historical information in order to organize and expedite future bids and proposals.
  • Works with Planning, Operations, and Supply Chain on the coordination of task requirements, and scheduling / forecasting tasks in preparation for the bid models reviews and project/program setup.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • []{#_Hlk15452178}Six years of Aircraft Maintenance experience required, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Airframe and/or Powerplant license or equivalent Repairmen's certificate preferred.

Compensation

The full base pay range for this position is $34.00 -- $51.00 (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your hourly rate will be based on factors including skills, education and experience. In addition to those factors -- we consider internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.
