Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Engineering Business Operations team is seeking multiple (Senior or Mid-level) Business Operations Specialists (level 3 or 4) to join our team in Everett and Renton, Washington!

The BCA Engineering Business Operations team is seeking multiple highly motivated Business Operations Specialist - Management System Extraordinaires to join our Team in Everett and Renton, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative team! Implementing a strong MIS requires the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build positive relationships, while providing the structure required to enable the achievement of business priorities. An effective management system is the foundation of any successful Boeing organization, and this role offers the unique opportunity to learn the Engineering business from the inside out.

Successful candidates are natural self-starters who are agile with the ability to quickly adapt strategies, plans, and solutions in response to dynamic business requirements. Selected candidates will lead the continuous improvement and execution of the BCA Engineering management system.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies, and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, proposal and implementation, deployment analysis, and impact mitigation.

  • Supports coordination and clarifies analysis with business partners to validate results, settle scope to meet long-range business goals, and develop business cases.

  • Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations to meet project milestones.

  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential develops mitigation planning, and refines the project plans.

  • Meets with leadership to provide awareness or gain approval.

  • Collects, organizes, and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.

  • Ensures follow-up action for issue resolution.

  • Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working in Business Operations, or Finance related or planning related field

  • 3+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, developing and presenting recommendations to the executive level and leading high-level projects for Executives or Sr Leadership

  • 3+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication

  • 3+ years of experience working in a dynamic work environment, including managing multiple priorities simultaneously

  • 3+ years of experience developing relationships and negotiating commitments with other functional organizations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • PMP Certification

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office tools

  • Experience in a role that required communication, executive writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills

  • Experience managing projects and using standard project management tools

  • Experience working across multiple programs and/or functions

  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (level 3): $93,000 - $101,000

Summary pay range (level 4): $115,000 - $125,000
