Queen's Health System Manager, Physician Practice - West Radiation Therapy (Full-Time, 40, Day) in Ewa Beach, Hawaii
RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages and oversees the daily administrative operations of assigned clinics at The Queen’s Medical Center - West Oahu (QMC WO).
• Manages, coordinates and monitors functions, activities and services to ensure excellent customer service.
• Ensures administrative operations are in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and policies and procedures of The Queen’s Medical Center (QMC).
• Establishes and achieves goals and objectives consistent with the Medical Center’s mission, short and long range plans.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: All required designated by frequency.
• Essential: finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
• Continuous: sitting, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods. .
• Frequent: walking.
• Occasional: standing, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, lifting and carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 5 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object.
• Operates computer, typewriter, calculator, telephone, fax and printer.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current Hawaii state license as Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS/HCP CPR certification.
• Evidence of continuing education.
B. EXPERIENCE:
• Three (3) years nursing experience in healthcare, preferably in an acute care hospital.
• Two (2) years supervisory/leadership experience.
• Prior experience demonstrating ability to work effectively with physicians.
• Demonstrated knowledge in third party and government payor and reimbursement regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid program requirements.
