Actalent Environmental Project Manager in Exton, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects, in alignment with Division, Region, and company financial and profitability goals.

  • Provide technical review and support for a diverse portfolio of projects.

  • Projects can include due diligence, investigations, remediation, compliance

  • New Jersey Department Environmental Protection Site Remediation Program (NJDEP SRP)

  • Develop new project work through sales efforts and response to proposals (new or existing clients).

  • Write and review technical reports and proposals.

  • Actively manage and develop existing client portfolios and source for new business opportunities.

  • Hire and manage subcontractors.

  • Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product, strong potential to have direct reports.

  • Ensure safe performance of project work.

  • Actively develop your own career growth.

Qualifications

  • BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or other related field.

  • 10 to 12+ years of solid technical experience.

  • Due diligence, investigations, remediation, compliance project experience required.

  • Dry cleaner project experience desired.

  • Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) or Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) Professional license highly desired.

  • New Jersey Department Environmental Protection Site Remediation Program (NJDEP SRP)

  • New York Department of Environmental Conservation (NYDEC) experience desired.

  • Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) experience desired.

  • Strong financial management experience highly desired.

  • Ability to mentor and train staff.

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite.

  • Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices.

  • Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
