Peerless Technologies Corporation Senior Software Test Management Engineer in Fairborn, Ohio
Peerless Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to support the F-22 Raptor Program Office, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The successful candidate should have experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) along with the Continuous Improvement/Continuous Development (CI/CD) software pipeline development in order to support the F-22 Program Office software management and software test processes. You should also have have applicable knowledge of automated software testing experience at the subsystem, and hardware-in-the-loop integration levels. Primary duties and responsibilities will include:
- Create and manage automated test scripts
- Identify and develop mitigation for Test and Evaluation (T&E) risk factors
- Assist in developing/documenting a T&E strategy that integrates policy, program requirements, cost and resource estimates, evaluation framework, and T&E schedule to accomplish program goals
- Translate requirements to support T&E planning efforts, assist in writing/translating test documents, such as Test Master Plans (TEMP), Developmental Test (DT) plans, and Operational Test (OT) plans
- Advise on test issues and ensure F-22 Program Office stakeholders make technically informed, objective judgments about Prime Weapon System Contractor/ Subcontractor Development Test and Evaluation (DT&E) results
- Advise on the standup of software testing infrastructure
- Provide support for planning, coordination, and execution of the F-22 Integrated Test Team (ITT)
- Provide status of T&E projects to senior leadership as required
- Develop metrics to assess software development progress
Requirements
- Ten (10) years of software test experience and at least three years of Agile software development experience.
- Certification(s) from the American Software Testing Qualifications Board are highly desired.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar/STEM field from an ABET-accredited organization
- Software testing experience with Automated Test Environments (ATE) is highly desired.
- Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP access is required.
