We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Assistant V to join our team. This role is key to ensuring accurate financial transactions, timely collection of payments, and effective resolution of outstanding accounts.
Note: The assigned functional areas for this position include general administrative assistance, cashiering, and/or collections.
Employment Standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to high school graduation and four years of experience providing administrative support in the assigned functional area(s).
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and credit check to the satisfaction of the employer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 1 year of experience in cashiering or collections.
At least two years of financial reconciliation experience.
Experience point-of-sale (POS) systems in a professional setting.
At least two years of front-line customer service experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with financial software Enterprise Resource Planning system. (SAP/FOCUS, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or Sage).
Ability to handle high volume transactions, especially during peak hours.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.
Good problem-solving skills for resolving customer issues.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to operate keyboard driven equipment, phone and retrieve documents from file cabinets. Duties are generally sedentary and performed in a normal office environment. Duties require the ability to stand for several hours and to lift moderately heavy items, such as boxes of paper weighing up to 50 Lbs. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
