Description
A busy company in the Fairfield NJ area is seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join their growing organization. This Entry Level Accountant will get the chance to work for a company that offers a flexible working schedule, career growth, and the ability to learn from an experienced Accounting Manager. The ideal Entry Level Accountant will have their Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field and have relevant internship experience. Other responsibilities of this Entry Level Accountant will include but not be limited to:
Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
Helping with ACH payments and wire payments
Aiding in month-end closing procedures
Applying cash applications
Reviewing completed transactions for reconciliation purposes
Handling additional projects as assigned by Accounting Manager

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
0-1 years of accounting or relevant field preferred
Intermediate Excel skills
Excellent communication (written & verbal)
Ability to multitask
