Full job description Parts room Duties and responsibilities 1. Maintain inventory-On shelves and in quick books. 2. Responsible for keeping quantities in stock. 3. Purchasing-Create purchase orders, submit to vendors. 4. Receiving-Receive product against purchase order and packing slip. 5. Enter receiving and bill into inventory. 6. Research new and existing parts and products for best price. 7. Establish and maintain good working relationships with vendors and customers 8. Sales-Assist customers with parts and trailer questions. 9. Enter sales orders and invoices to customers for parts and products. 10. Pull, pack and, ship products to customers. 11. Pull parts for walk-in customers. 12. Process credit card sales. 13. Conduct yearly inventory. 14. Responsible for maintaining non-inventory supplies. 15. Responsible for keeping the parts room neat, clean and, orderly. ? Should have experience with Word and Excel. ? Experience with Quick Books Manufacturing. ? Should be able to understand the Bill of Materials concept and how to create one and utilize it in Quick Books. ? Purchasing experience is necessary. ? Experience with shipping small packages and LTL freight. ? Be able to work alone and unsupervised. ? Good organization skills. ? Mechanically inclined. ? Some accounting background required. ? Some heavy lifting required. ? Position is full time, 40 hrs. Monday-Friday
