Fortive Corporation Credit and Collections Analyst in Fairport, New York
Join our dynamic team as a Credit & Collections Analyst! In this role you will handle and minimize credit risks and achieve collection objectives. You will administer the credit and collection activities for assigned accounts within the managed customer portfolio. Portfolio will include accounts from regions across the world allowing for frequent interaction with Qualitrol’s global sales team. You will also have the opportunity to drive improvement in the aged/drifting invoice buckets and action them off the aging to maintain a clean portfolio of accounts.
Here’s where you’ll demonstrate your proficiencies:
Investigate credit worthiness of new customers and establish or change credit terms/limits of above-mentioned portfolio. Refer to supervisor for large credit limits with your recommendations.
Process and maintain system tax information for new and existing customers. Acquire appropriate documents from customers.
Make credit decisions on daily releasing of credit holds for assigned portfolio.
Contact customers in assigned portfolio for past due, open issues and proactive invoice payments on accounts.
Interact and involve appropriate personnel to resolve discrepancies on accounts.
Communicate sales restrictions or actions that may affect customer relations to appropriate Sales personnel.
Request credit memos when needed and provide invoice copies, proof of deliveries or account analysis when required.
Report periodic updates on key accounts within assigned portfolio.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree within accounting or finance is strongly preferred.
Proven track record in collections and credit analysis, in B2B industrial company preferred.
Strong customer service and inter-department skills.
Action orientated, organized and able to set and follow priorities.
Problem solving skills.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
The salary range for this position (inclusive of sales incentives/commission) is $36,000.00 - $66,800.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
