Tends Injection Molding Machine that heats plastic/resin raw materials to form plastic molded products. Performs visual inspections, and packs completed parts per Operator Instructions. Escalates operating issues as needed. At Parker, you will cultivate a strong culture by participating in High Performance Teams and operating in a LEAN structure.
Essential Functions
Read and follow posted operator instructions. Remove product from injection molding machine or conveyor belt located at machine and inspect, in some cases assemble, trim, and/or pack product per instructions.
Collect and enter data on appropriate documents such as Day by Hour boards and/or quality sort sheets
Maintains work area and equipment according to 5S standard, and performs secondary operations as needed.
Properly labels all boxes and packed parts.
Work cross functionally to support company LEAN and High Performance team objectives and initiatives.
Adheres to all Parker safety and quality standards.
Use appropriate PPE for designated area.
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
GED or High School Diploma required.
Relevant Work Experience: I: 0-1 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Ability to read and follow written and/or verbal instruction in English.
Ability to lift and or move up to 40 lbs.
