Synectic Solutions Inc Senior Operations Logistics Manager PMA-201 in Fallbrook, California
Synectic Solutions, Inc. is looking to add an experienced and skilled Senior Operations Logistics Manager to join our talented team in Pax River, MD. This position is established in support of the Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE) Integrated Product Team (IPT) which is part of Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201). PMA-201 is under the control of Program Executive Office for Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons (PEO(U&W)) and is responsible for the life cycle management of air launched strike weapons.
Duties will include:
Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems.
Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as:
Technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements
Development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans
Systems acquisition requirements analysis
Budgetary or financial analysis and control
Life cycle cost analysis and control
Weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and, ILS/R&M program management analysis
Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.
Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.
Specific Duties:
Assist in researching AAE Conventional Ordnance Discrepancy Reports
Assist with management of AAE maintenance publications
Will work directly with APML/DAPML on all fleet issues, budgetary actions
May be asked to brief senior NAVAIR leadership
Assist IPTLs tracking CDRLs IMS scheduling
Education:
BS or BA degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, or Management
Allowable Substitution:
An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Experience:
Ten (10) years’ experience in acquisition related to in-service support of DoD weapons system performing any of the following:
LORA
Maintenance Planning, Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis
Operational Availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis
Life Cycle Costing experience desired
Four years’ experience directing the performance of comprehensive analyses across the spectrum of ILS elements, during a job assignment in an Acquisition Command or supporting an acquisition command
DAWIA Level II certification in any field preferred
This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
