Summary About the Position: HFPA/G9 provides health facility expertise, manages programs, and executes projects in order to build and sustain a world-class Environment of Care to support Army Medicine's combat casualty care and promote a system of Health for our Warriors and their Families. Responsibilities Program and budget for funding of CORE and Information Management and Information Technology (IMIT) accounts. Analyze, report, and reconcile funds received and balances to accounting, financial and budgetary sources. Responsible for preparing recurring and nonrecurring resource management and program management reports. Responsible for the Management Internal Control Program, Civilian Personnel Liaison Officer for Directorate civilian employees, alternate Contracting Officer Representative and POC for the Table of Distribution and Allowances. Manage/Supervise junior resource manager. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Prepare financial reports to make budget recommendations; (2) Use financial systems to track and allocate funds; (3) Interpret rules, policies or regulations for funding; AND (4). Experience communicating effectively orally and in writing. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Financial Management Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
