Lawrence-Lynch Corp. Heavy Equipment Operator in Falmouth, Massachusetts

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you play a key role in completing critical infrastructure projects like roadwork, highways, bridges, and site work. You\'ll handle tasks such as paving, excavation, trenching, and curbing, operating various heavy machinery with precision. Your day-to-day may involve earthwork, demolition, paving, utility work, site grading, road maintenance, and more. Safety is always a top priority-for you, your team, and the public. Overall, you find your work fulfilling and appreciate being part of a solid, supportive company! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR High school diploma or GED is preferred. Three (3) years of experience in the heavy construction industry is strongly desired, including experience in skilled use of tools, materials, and equipment used in asphalt paving, curb and utility installation or a related field. Experience operating a Bulldozer, Paver, Grader, and/or Milling Machine is highly desired. A valid driver\'s license is required and clean driving abstract. CDL B License with DOT medical card, tanker & airbrake endorsements is preferred. Must have or be able to obtain a Hoisting Engineer\'s License (1C & 2A) Must have or be able to obtain OSHA 10 certification. OSHA 30 is preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to pass background (driving abstract) and drug testing as required by federal and/or state regulations. CORI checks required for certain jobsites. HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR WORK SCHEDULE Our peak construction periods are typically in the Spring and Fall. Work is dependent on project-based needs, however a majority of our employees work 40+ hours during peak periods, and as needed during off seasons. Typical work days begin around 7:00 am and finished by 5:00 pm.
