Border States Business Analyst II in Fargo, North Dakota
Border States Industries Inc. (Fargo, ND) to be responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of business technology systems to support the customers needs; collaborating with business, development, and other analyst teams to write technical and functional documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and correcting, including end-user documentation (training) to describe new or enhanced functionality; reviewing, analyzing, modifying, writing, and/or executingthorough change request test plansand checkliststo ensure that business system changes are working properly, existing processes remain unaffected, and the needs of the users are met; identifying, tracking, monitoring, and communicating project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that occur during projects; proactively researching, recommending, and assisting in the implementation of emerging technologies and/or vendor solutions as they relate to companys best practices; maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery test documentation as it relates to the functional areas.
Must hold a Masters degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT/IS or related field or a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT/IS or related field, together with five (5) years of progressively responsible previous work experience in the position offered or related. Must know (through academic training or work experience) developing new SAP custom programs per the process requirements; performing system configuration within the SAP system, coding, testing and deployment; using SAP Legacy System Migration Workbench tool to mass create or change of customer/vendor master; monitoring inbound and outbound EDI IDOCs in SAP system; and creating end-to-end business process test scripts.
May work from home anywhere in the continental U.S.
