Lead Production Technician

Type: Full-time, Hourly, $25 - $28 per hour, Mon - Fri 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Kelly Services is currently on the hunt for a skilled and dedicated Lead Production Technician to join our team at the Fargo plant location , focusing on food science. This is a critical position that combines the need for hands-on technical proficiency with leadership skills to ensure the efficient operation of our production processes. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our commitment to producing safe, high-quality food products.

Core Responsibilities:

• Learn and Understand Manufacturing Processes: Grasp the end-to-end process of manufacturing, from raw material to finished product.

• Operate Equipment: Handle operations including rail unloading, milling, mixing, roll drying, conveying, and packaging.

• Quality Assurance: Focus on producing safe, quality food by recording production data accurately.

• Productivity Improvement: Continually seek ways to improve productivity while maintaining product quality.

• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring the plant is inspection-ready at all times.

• Team Leadership: Train new and established personnel, playing a key role in developing the team.

• Food Safety: Be vigilant in reporting all potential food safety issues and adhere to all company, safety, and food safety regulations.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of supervision experience (preferred but not required)

• Experience with ERP systems (desired)

• Basic math and analytical skills

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multitask

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (physical lift test of 50 lbs. 5 times, background check, and drug screen)
