As the Senior Digital Cloud Solution Architect - Data and AI, you will play a crucial role in enabling customers to achieve their goals through strategic investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging your technical expertise in Azure and Data & AI solutions, you will lead technical discussions with customers, guiding them to extract maximum value from their Microsoft investments and identifying solutions to overcome challenges hindering the success of their Data and AI projects. Responsibilities
Customer Success
Lead customer engagements to achieve revenue and Azure consumption targets, aligning their business needs with Microsoft solutions.
Build strong customer relationships by conducting in-depth analyses of usage patterns and needs, delivering recommendations to optimize and expand cloud investments.
Facilitate Architectural Design Sessions to create actionable plans for implementing solutions that align with customer business goals and technical environments.
Business Impact
Guide customer strategy and future growth by leveraging Microsoft programs and solutions, fostering customer engagement and driving impactful outcomes.
Act as an advocate for customers, providing feedback to Microsoft on challenges, blockers, and opportunities for improvement to ensure continuous alignment and support.
Drive business results by retaining and growing customer investments, ensuring their long-term success on Azure.
Technical Leadership
Apply technical expertise and insights to design modernization roadmaps, architecting solutions that meet business and IT objectives while incorporating Data and AI technologies (including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Machine Learning and AI services).
Collaborate across teams, including the Specialist Team Unit and Cloud Migration Factory, to orchestrate resources and deliver seamless Azure solutions.
Grow domain knowledge by engaging with customers and colleagues to deepen understanding of architecture and competitive landscapes.
Share ideas, insights, and strategic-technical input with peers, providing thought leadership to enhance team expertise. Act as a role model in the architect community, sharing knowledge to support career development and drive impactful business outcomes.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
5+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales
OR Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 3+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales
OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technical architect, consulting, design and implementation, and/or sales
OR equivalent experience.
6+ years experience with cloud-based solution designs, migrations and management of technology
6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
6+ years experience leading technical projects.
Technical Certifications in Cloud platforms, notably in Azure
Digital Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $49.90 - $96.30 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $64.28 - $105.38 per hour.
