Renewal by Andersen was founded with the objective of creating a different and better window and door replacement experience for homeowners.

We're expanding and seeking a human resources/payroll specialist to maintain payroll systems and the processing of bonuses, commissions, paychecks/deposits for both hourly and salaried employees according to schedule and in the correct amount. Duties also consist of the administration of company benefits programs, generating necessary reports, maintaining confidentiality, and providing support as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • New employee onboarding and the maintenance of all employee personnel records and data ensuring ongoing accuracy and confidentiality

  • Coordinate all new employee orientation including introductions, familiarization with company history, goals, policies, and issuance of employee handbooks and ensuring ongoing accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Provide information as needed to all employees regarding company health insurance benefits, payroll issues, 401K plan, paid time off and sick day eligibility and enroll in ADP and on various insurance carrier websites.

  • Maintain company benefit deductions using ADP Workforce Now.

  • Assist the payroll team on a wide variety of tasks including time and attendance audits, commission payment, payroll processing, etc.

  • Coordinate with payroll to prepare all documents and calculations timely.

  • Prepare various reports as needed.

  • Process wage orders, benefit orders, garnishments and respond to various government inquiries and audits.

  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll and reimbursement related information. 

  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

  • Perform assigned duties as needed to support the Payroll Department

  • Perform accurate weekly and semi-monthly payroll journal entries.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred

  • 2-3 years of prior experience in payroll or a similar role is a plus

  • Familiarity with ADP, preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Team player with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $23-$25/hour

Schedule:

  • Onsite in our Farmingdale office
