Are you looking for an opportunity where you feel valued as a team member and empowered to make decisions? A reputable company in Fayetteville, TN is seeking a candidate for a Production Tig Welding position. Interested candidates MUST be able to pass a Tig Welding test for consideration. Must be able to commute to Fayetteville, TN.
salary: $20 - $22 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 12:30 AM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Welds in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions
Operates grinders and DA sanders to clean up/smooth welds
Must be able to perform visual inspection and dimensional inspection using basic measuring tools
Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use simple math to perform basic calculations
Must be proficient in welding techniques
Must be able to perform wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and galvanized
Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 35lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
