Conagra Fork Lift Operator in Fennville, Michigan
Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 6:00 AM-2:30 AM
Hourly Rate: $19.49 an hour
Lift Truck Operator
RESPONSIBLITIES
Transporting materials, and finished good throughout the facility using a lift truck.
Qualify for and be physically able to operate a lift truck in a safe and efficient manner.
Operate computer, SAP, and VMU’s.
Lift up to 30 pounds frequently.
Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Maintain accurate records such as: hilo checklist, use of computer for records or any other documentation as needed.
Conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure safe use during the day and communicating any issues to the warehouse supervisor. Daily maintenance checks on the truck assigned, including checking the proper oil and water levels , etc.
Keep accurate and legible records as required.
Be able to work in any area throughout the plant.
Be able to high stack product containers and stage finished goods for transfer.
Be able to use rotary head for dumping.
Must follow all dock lock safety procedures and all facility safety and food safety policies.
Keep work area clean and clean of any foreign material off the forklift you are using before the end of your shift.
Report all damage to forklift and any other company property to your supervisor.
Responsible for making sure your immediate forklift is full of gas for the following shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Have good attendance and work record.
Be able to work overtime and weekends when required.
Responsible for overserving all safety rules and regulations set forth by Conagra Brands.
Must comply with Conagra Brands safety, food safety and Good Manufacturing Policies.
Available to work different shifts and overtime including weekends.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Must have and active drivers license
Must follow all dock lock and wheel chock safety checks
Be mentally physically able to perform the job.
Must pass the Conagra Brands lift truck test.
Must be able be certified in Safety Training of new forklift operators.
