How you’ll shape the future of the Maintenance Team:

  • Provide subject matter expertise for all mill reliability systems.

  • Development and general administration of mill wide maintenance condition monitoring programs including preventive and predictive maintenance and lubrication.

  • Lead and facilitate root cause failure analyses.

  • Prepare cost estimates, equipment evaluations, project appropriation requests (PAR's), and designs for projects ranging from minor process and/or equipment alterations to major capital improvements.

  • Timely completion and cost control of all projects assigned.

  • Perform detailed root cause analysis for equipment related failures and provide detailed recommendations to eliminate and prevent the failures from happening again.

  • Develop and implement analysis methods for determining reliability of components, equipment, and processes.

  • Prepare diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports for defining reliability problems and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Support the technical department and individual reliability team’s categorization of lost ton and lost time details.

  • Conduct analysis of reliability problems and investigate to determine solutions while considering the cost limitations for equipment up/down time, repair/replacement costs, weight, size, and availability of materials/equipment.

  • Determine the cost advantages of alternatives to comply with internal/external customer demands for reliable processes/equipment.

  • Support the plant’s condition monitoring programs as the subject matter expert on preventive maintenance programs and the tools associated with failure detection (i.e. vibration analysis, oil monitoring, thermography, ultrasonic) as well as the software associated with them.

  • Manage the KCF vibration program and support the execution of the company vibration program within the maintenance crews. Responsible for overall management of the KCF FB website, hardware, software, administrative tasks, and general settings

  • Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations including capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance issues.

  • Identify new technology, best practices, or initiatives that could improve the reliability of the plant.

You’ll be someone who can bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years experience

  • Experience working within an established vibration, lubrication or RCA program is preferred.

  • Ability and expertise to proceed on all projects with a minimum of supervision and assistance.

  • Working knowledge of pulp mill operations and management procedures.

  • Excellent communication both oral and written.

  • Computer skills including MS 365 calendar, teams, email, etc.

  • Demonstrated safety excellence.
