The Construction Supervisor position schedules jobs by trade, including all required subcontractors; manages and oversees the progress and quality of work on all assigned jobs; writes and establishes budgets; provides detailed material list for each job; reviews all invoices for materials and subcontracted labor and approve for payment; performs quality control visual walkthrough on all completed jobs. This position requires 36 months of experience in a similar position. This is a full-time position working approximately 50 hours per week. Approximated hours will be Monday through Friday 7am-5pm, with some weekend and holiday hours on an as-needed basis, as well as an on-call rotation every 9 weeks. F. Lax Construction LLC intends to offer wage rates from $70,000 to $79,000 per year, paid on a weekly basis. F. Lax Construction LLC will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. This wage range equals or exceeds the highest of the prevailing wage or the Federal, State, or local minimum wage. This is a salaried position with no overtime pay. If workers complete 50 percent of the work contract period, F. Lax Construction LLC will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). F. Lax Construction LLC will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
