These core values are the foundation of our organization which our employees embrace in their interactions with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders to drive financial performance and create a rewarding work environment.Who are we looking for ?We are looking for a Distribution Planner to maintain proper inventory of finished products at external warehouses by means of using SAP/JDE or similar MRP systems.What will you be doing ?Processes daily updates of planners to show accurate demand for products. Generates full truckload shipments to external warehouses with appropriate lead time from manufacturing to delivery.Communicates daily demand and availability to Customer Service, Shipping, and Production. Maintains MRP planner parameters for optimal shipment, available stock, and lead time. Communicates with Customer Service and internal Operations personnel to prepare for extraordinary demand or shortage.Identifies and addresses shipment variance from forecast. Provides aging report to Operations Director for review.Assists in data collection for any ongoing projects that are related to operations.Assists with data entry on needed projects related to operations.Assists other planners as needed.Who are You ?The ideal candidate will possess the following: Associate's degree (A. A. / A. S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with SAP and/or JD Edwards is preferred.What competencies will you need ?Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and sums.
